Founded in 1975, Gilchrist Metal Fabricating Co., Inc. continues to provide customers with high-quality, custom-crafted metal components for a diverse range of industries.
Our plant has grown significantly since its founding three decades ago. We started in a 13,000 sq. ft. facility and quickly found the need for expansion. Over the years we have grown into a 50,000 sq. ft. facility in two buildings providing us with more space for our large brakes and unique fine plasma cutting equipment. These expansions have also increased our welding and fabrication space, while allowing better material handling, and have provided an enclosed truck bay with overhead cranes.
Our most recent expansion consists of an adjacent 36,000 sq. ft. building, known as Gilchrist North. Here we support the Television Broadcasting industry among others, with the production of wave-guide, oversize machining, fabricating and assembly.
